Cartoon Planes 3D is a fully 3D live wallpaper and customization suite that brings a playful cartoon world to your Android device. You can choose from 12 unique cartoon planes and a lot of beautifully designed skies. Enable randomization to see different plane and sky combinations every time you unlock your screen. Personalize even further with color modes like vivid, pastel, sepia, black and white, and limited palette styles to match your mood or setup.
Beyond the wallpaper, Cartoon Planes 3D includes a clock display built into the scene, a stylized clock widget, and a matching themed keyboard—all designed to give your device a cohesive, stylized look. Activate screen saver mode for a relaxing display while charging. When you’re looking for a quick bit of fun, jump into the included mini game.

Perfect for aviation fans, cartoon lovers, or anyone who enjoys a fun and dynamic home screen.

Developer's notes about OpenGL ES programming

Introduction During development of our live wallpapers we have tried various scenarios of using OpenGL ES and have used many optimizations of both performance and visuals of our live wallpapers. In this article I will try to tell what problems can developer experience while developing for OpenGL ES on Android.

Developer's notes II. ETC2 texture compression in OpenGL ES 3.0

The most recent Android version 4.3 has been released a few weeks ago. Even long before final release there has been a few leaked ROMs around - first for Samsung Galaxy S4, and then for Nexus 4. In both of these ROMs I've found libraries for OpenGL ES 3.0 which was extremely good news - rumors about March demo of OpenGL ES 3.0 on HTC One working on native libraries were true. As well as rumors for support of Bluetooth Low Energy were true, too. So after receiving OTA updates on Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 I've decided to try this goodness out. (Nexus 7 received update with almost one week delay but I didn't care about this, I'll explain later why).
